EURADWASTE 19 (http://fisa-euradwaste2019.nuclear.ro/)

The European Commission is co-organising FISA 2019 and EURADWASTE ’19 conferences with the Ministry of Research and Innovation of Romania and the Institute for Nuclear Research (RATEN ICN) under the auspices of the Romanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union in 2019, with the objectives:

  • To present progress and key achievements of some 90 projects carried out, since the previous conference edition in 2013, as part of the 7th and Horizon 2020 Euratom Research and Training Framework Programmes (FP)
  • To stimulate discussions on the state of play of R&D, key challenges addressed at national, European and international levels on research and innovation policies, synergies and partnerships, and future perspectives.
  • To address the latest EC proposal for a new Framework Programme for Research and Innovation for the period 2021-27, ‘Horizon Europe’ and ‘Euratom Research and Training’ programme

EUROCLAY (https://euroclay2019.sciencesconf.org/)

Euroclay is amongst the foremost scientific meetings in the field of clays and clay minerals, and upholds the tradition of presenting every four years, the latest cutting-edge results of this scientific field. EUROCLAY 2019 will be held at Pierre & Marie Curie University (UPMC) in the center of Paris, 1st-5th July 2019, and will be organized by the French Clay Group (GFA), under the auspices of ECGA and AIPEA. It will consist of scientific and technical sessions with both oral and poster presentations, arranged around four main themes, namely:

  • Crystallography, mineralogy and modelling
  • Environment and geological processes
  • Resources, energy, storage
  • Functionalized clays and archeology
